Whitworth Rush Cart Procession 2024

Whitworth is one of only four places in the UK still following the ancient tradition of Rushcart celebrations.  With troupes of dancers including the Whitworth Morris Men and the famous Brittania Coconutters it draws large crowds each year as the procession makes it wa from Whitworth Museum to The Ashcroft.

It’s well worth a visit, so keep an eye out for it next September.
