A very early site, now occupied by John Leach & Sons, metal recyclers.  A water-driven fulling mill was built in 1790. Athough Newchurch Parish registers of 1748/9 mention ‘Constableleigh Mill’, nothing is shown on Yates map of 1786.

The random-stone chimney using traditional stone walling techniques was added in the 19th century. Now in poor condition, it is unlikely to have been very tall when built. It is on the banks of Limey Water and best viewed from Leabrook Road.
