Park Mill, Haslingden, chimney

Park Mill

Park Road, Helmshore

BB4 4NP

Unusually for Rossendale, both the mill and chimney were built from engineering brick, rather than stone. The three-storey spinning building which fronts Holcombe Road, was opened in 1893. The entire complex is now mainly retail, including a delightful coffee / wine bar ‘The Loom’.

The chimney, which has been truncated, is best viewed from Park Street.
