Remains of a stone-polishing mill can still be seen on this fascinating site which lies to the South of Grane Road, above the reservoirs. There is no easy or signed route to the site and it is only accessible via footpaths. Built in 1880 to power the mill, it was rebuilt by Groundwork Trust in 2000.
