Our Chair, Barbara Smith has recently been selected as one of a hundred applicants from nearly 1000 to take part in an experimental mission combining archaeology, Artificial Intelligence, and the power of the crowd to identify previously unknown archaeological sites from LiDAR images.  More details can be found on our newsletter #10.

This will assist us in assessing the hidden heritage that lies beneath a our feet.  We can then collaborate with other groups as we investigate further.  An exciting prospect indeed!
