Broadclough Mill

Burnley Road, Bacup

OL13 8PG

One of the older mills in Bacup, being built in 1791, it was originally a water-powered spinning mill. The existing buildings date to the 1830s.  The Grade II listed mill and chimneys (see Broadclough Mill 2) were built in 1835/9. It was closed for much of the 1860s due to chancery proceedings.
