Grane Mill

Built in 1850/51 Grane Mill it is being developed as a museum. In 1885, it housed 8,768 mule spindles and 332 looms with space for a further 140. It has open-days throughout the year and is well worth a visit.
The chimney is best viewed from within the mill yard.
