Shawclough Mill
Coal Pit Lane, Waterfoot
BB4 9JZ
Although believed to have been built in 1780, it is not shown on Thomas Barclay’s map of 1804-10. Several businesses tried and failed in the premises but in 1913, the site was redeveloped and most of the existing buildings date from this time. The chimney has since been truncated.
